Mary Frances "Fanny" Crane, 97 years old, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at her home in Liverpool. She was born September 4, 1928, the daughter of Thomas Kenny and Mary (Witmer) Wise. She was the 3rd child of 9, a loving daughter and nurturing big sister.

Mary married Charles "Rich" Crane November 26, 1949 and they had five children: Sandra Brofee, Roger Crane (Leslie), Rick Crane, Nancy Berger, and Patricia Roland (Martin).grandmother (G-ma) to 8 . and great grandmother to 12. She is also survived by  sisters Ruth Schell and Esther Hunter and brotherJohn Wise. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and siblings Lenore Shearer, Annie Jones, Virginia Sheets, Thomas and Paul Wise.

She loved making animal cakes for the little ones for their first birthdays. Fanny was known for being an excellent seamstress, cake baker, her flower gardens, and  bowling - recognized several times for 150 and 175 scores.  Fanny was always willing to help serve dinners for all Liverpool organizations and doing what she could to help others. Fanny was a devoted member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Civic Club, Selinsgrove VFW, Liverpool Legion #364, and Susquehanna Sweethearts-Red Hats.

Fanny and Rich celebrated 56 years of marriage when he passed away in 2007 She will be missed by her family and friends but memories of her will live on forever.

Services will be held Friday, October 17 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1000 N Front Street, Liverpool with a viewing from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM.Burial will follow in the Liverpool Cemetery.
