Mary K (Barnes) Taylor

Mary K. Taylor, 91, of Millerstown, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. She was born March 17, 1923 in Tuscarora Township, Millerstown to Harry and Annie (Leonard) Barnes. She was a member of the Donnally Mills United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, gardening, animals and especially being with her family.
Mary was the widow of George E. "Peck" Taylor and is survived by her daughters, Linda K. Yoder (Larry) of Millerstown and Tammy T. Fisher (Wayne) of New Bloomfield; grandchildren, Andrew Yoder (Heather) of York and Lauren Dietz (Jeff) of Carlisle and great grandchildren, Rebekah and Christian Yoder. She was preceded in death by infant daughter, Sharon Taylor; brothers, Roscoe, David, Newell and John Barnes and sisters, Stattie McGowan, Edith Kline, Ellen Fosselman, Charlotte, Hall, Elsie Kell and Freida Simonton.                                                                                                      Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday from 6-8 PM at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport and services on Tuesday from the Donnally Mills UMC for a viewng from 10 AM until the service at 11 AM with Pastor Wyatt Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
