Michael R. Bashore, 77 years old, of Newport, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. He was born April 12, 1947 to the late Kenneth and Anna Bashore. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and member of the Newport American Legion and Millerstown Moose.

Michael is survived by his wife Beverly Dean Bashore; son Matthew Bashore (Deanna) of Harrisburg; brothers Doug Bashore of Aspers and Patrick Bashore of South Carolina; sister Nancy Markowitz of Camp Hill and grandchildren Alexander Snyder and Austin M Bashore.

Graveside Service will be Wednesday, June 19 at 12 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Harrisburg
