Michael D Sweger

 Michael D. Sweger, 57 years old, of Millerstown, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. He was born October 18, 1966 to Robert A. and Nancy L. Campbell Sweger.

He was a 1984 graduate of Greenwood High School and was employed by Industrial Service Solutions of Camp Hill, a member of Highland Presbyterian Church, Millerstown Moose and Newport American Legion. 

Mike was a talented songwriter and musician and played in several bands throughout his life, most recently with Last Call. His greatest joy was spending time with his family on vacation at OCMD and most of all his favorite was the time spent with Benjamin going to the dirt track races at Port Royal Speedway.

 Mike is survived by his  significant other, Darlene Fitzpatrick; son Benjamin Michael Sweger; mother Nancy L. Sweger; sister Lori Sweger all of Millerstown, nephew Brendan Kimmich of Hershey and his beloved dog, Magoo. He was preceded in death by his Father, Robert A. Sweger.

A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held Saturday, December 2 at Highland Presbyterian Church, Newport with visitation at 10 AM and services beginning at 11 AM. A luncheon will follow.
