Minnie M (McNaughton) Turnbaugh

Minnie M. Turnbaugh, 90, of Newport, passed away Tuesday November 1, 2016 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence in Harrisburg. She was born September 27, 1926 in Millerstown to Ralph and Hattie (Fawver) McNaughton. She retired as manager of Pebb Manufacturing in Ickesburg and was a member of the former St. Samuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed baking, sewing, walking and especially spending time with her family.
  Minnie was the widow of M.E. "Gene" Turnbaugh to whom she was married to for 53 years and is survived by her daughter Barbara Jean Leach and husband Michael of Newport; sisters, Lottie  Wilson, Tamar Wilfong and Shirley Bailor; granddaughter Babette DiVecchio and her husband Michael and great grandchildren Anna and Gavin DiVecchio. She was preceded in death  by her brothers, John and Ralph McNaughton and sister Nora Ricedorf.
  Services will be held on Saturday from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a viewing from 11 AM until the funeral service  at  1 PM with Pastor Mary Kay Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery.
