Nancy J. Strawser, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, 74 years old, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025 at her home in Duncannon, surrounded by her loving husband, children and grandchildren when she went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born November 10, 1950 to the late Leo Sr. and Mary (Stoner) Beers. Nancy was a 1968 graduate of Susquenita High School and retired as a secretary with the school district. She began her career after high school as a secretary with the state transportation department before choosing to be a homemaker to her loving husband and two daughters. She was a long time member of the Central Baptist Church, Millerstown, where she served in multiple children's ministries including AWANA club, Sunday School and VBS. Some of her hobbies included needlepoint, puzzles, crocheting, painting, baking, traveling, and gardening. Yet her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and attending their events.

  Nancy is survived by her husband of 54 years William G. Strawser; daughters Michelle Motter (Paul) of Marysville and Melissa Wolfe (Mark) of Dauphin; brothers Leo Beers Jr. (Avis) of Marysville and Harry Beers of Newport; sisters Dixie Showers of Palmyra and Violet Walters of Carlisle and grandchildren Jacob Motter (Hayden), Lillian Motter, Nathanael Motter, Emma Wolfe, Elena Wolfe, Eliza Wolfe and Ezekiel Wolfe

  Services will be held Saturday, November 15 at the Central Baptist Church, 29 Pines Drive, Millerstown with a viewing from 9 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
