Nancy M. Woods, 79 years old, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023. She was born May 2, 1944 to the late Frank and Anna (Gipe) Sheaffer. She was a member of the Bucks United Methodist Church and retired teacher's aide from the Newport School District. She enjoyed crafting and loved her dogs. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends and eating out with them on Fridays.
Nancy is survived by her husband Terry; daughter Michelle Durand and husband Edward of Shermans Dale; brothers Frank Sheaffer of Shermans Dale and Mike Sheaffer of Newport; sister Sandra Keleman of Newport and grandchildren Kayce, Abby and Carley Durand.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 8 at 4 PM at the Wila Cemetery, Newport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Perry County Animal Rescue, 507 Sugar Run Road, Millerstown, PA 17062.
