Nelson E Alleman, Jr. Obituary

Nelson “Butch” E. Alleman, Jr. entered into eternal rest peacefully on April 18, 2026. He
was born January 19, 1944 to the late Nelson E. and Anna Alleman, Sr.
He graduated from Green Park High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran and proudly
served in the U.S. Army from 1964 until his honorable discharge in 1967. Following his
military service Butch also known by his handle “Half-pint” hauled freight for 37 years
for both Hall's and ABF Freight until his retirement in 2008.
He treasured his family, his puppy dogs, flowers, boating, fishing and sprint car racing.
Butch was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years Kathleen Alleman and his infant
sister Bonnie Alleman.
He is survived by his two sons Nelson Scott E. Alleman and wife Bobbi of Liverpool, PA.
and Jan S. O. Alleman and Fiancé Heather Anderson of Middleburg, FL.
5 Grandchildren Mathew Alleman and wife Lydia of Shippensburg, PA, Eric Alleman
and wife Abby of Glen Rock, PA, Cole Alleman and wife Haylee of Newport, PA,
Samantha Alleman and Fiancé Teron Wongus of Bridgeville, DE and Alexandria
Alleman of Fleming Island, FL.
8 Great Grandchildren Everett, Laurel and expected Baby Girl Alleman, Christian
Wonders, Raelynn and Carson Alleman, Teron Wongus, Jr. and Makayla Alleman.
As well as 5 siblings Karen Kern of Elliottsburg, PA, Michael Alleman and wife Susan of
Elliottsburg, PA, Sandra Zeigler and husband Roy of Thompsontown, PA, Douglas
Alleman and wife Sandy of Liverpool, PA and Steven Alleman and wife Wendy of Elliottsburg,PA


A Celebration of Nelson's Life will be held Saturday, May 2 from 1-3 PM at the


David M Myers Funeral Home, Newport.
