Patricia M (Turner) Morgal Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia (Pat) Mae (Turner) Morgal of Newport,
PA, on October 16, 2024, under the full Hunter’s Moon, at the age of 78. Pat was born on August 3, 1946,
in Baltimore, MD, to Charles Henry Turner and Margaret Pearl (Carr) Turner.
Pat was the quiet, fiercely protective guiding force for her very extended family, whom she loved dearly.
She was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family and
friends. Pat was best known among friends and acquaintances for her unending humor and witty remarks.
Pat was a strong, independent businesswoman during the working years of her life. She held many
prestigious positions in multiple industries and private sectors. Still, she always chose her family first
regarding annual family vacations to Stone Harbor, NJ, and holiday dinners at the Fosselman homestead
outside Wila, PA. Pat maintained a number of endearing life-long relationships with many and loved
having her nails and hair done by local business owners. Pat spent years taxiing her great nieces and
nephew to and from school, athletic practices, and extracurricular weekend activities. Pat attended stage
performances, championship athletic games, and the such where her great niece and nephew were
featured. She was honored to have attended weddings, baptisms, and high school graduation ceremonies,
standing witness to the growth and maturation of future generations.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret (Carr) Turner; her step-mother, Blanche
VanAllen Turner; her grandmother, Mimi VanAllen; her brother Charles “Bunky” Richard Turner; her
uncle, Walter Tuner; and her aunt, Dorothy Marie (Turner) Hubbs.
Pat is survived by her sister, Dorothy Marie (Turner) Fosselman; her brother, George Leslie VanAllen
Turner; her nieces and nephews and their families including John and Debbie Fosselman; Benjamin and
Caitlyn Fosselman; Lindsay, Zachariah, and Declan Gates; Emily, Nick, and Theodore Watters; Saranne,
Andrew, Zoey, Claire, and Hazel Miller; Jessica and Steve Simpson; Sophie and Seth Little; Maxwell
Bianchi; Jason Turner and Ann Bartley; Skylar (Bartley) and Ashley Travis; Wynter Bartley; Kai Bartley;
Sarah Lehman; Garet Turner; and Larry Fosselman.
All will remember Pat fondly as they see the moon in the night sky and continue to feel her guidance in
the years to come, like the moon lighting their paths in the dark.
