Patricia L. Sowers, 66 years old, of Newport, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Hershey Medical Center. She was born May 30, 1958 to the late Janet (Walker) and Frederick Eshelman. She had formerly worked  at the Perry County Courthouse and for Rabbit Transportation. She enjoyed fishing, camping, baking cookies, doing jigsaw puzzles and especially her time with the grandchildren.

  Pat is survived by her husband, Bruce W.  Sowers; step-daughter Jessica Barlup of Newport and her children Henry and Eleanor Barlup; brother Mark Eshelman; sister Yvonne Bryson.. She was preceded in death by brother David Eshelman.

  Services will be held Sunday, June 8  at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with  a visitation from 1 PM until the Memorial Service at 2 PM with the Reverend Nancy McClure officiating.
