Pauline “Heidi” M. Freeland, 63, of Newport, formerly of Dillsburg, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on October 11, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Pauline (Radle) Esworthy.

Pauline had a quiet strength and a heart full of love for her family. She found joy in life’s simple comforts—playing solitaire, watching Judge Judy, camping with her family and caring for the animals she adored. Those who knew her will remember her warm smile, quick wit, and the way she always made her home a place of comfort and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronnie C. Freeland, with whom she shared many years of love and partnership.

Pauline’s greatest pride was her family. She is survived by her daughters Natalie Lanzalotti (Thomas) of Newport, Brandi Betz (Jared) of Newport, and Leah Freeland of York; her brother Paul Esworthy; and her cherished grandchildren Deion Marique, Lane Lanzalotti, Olivia and Brynlee Betz, Dylan, Aubrianna, Brooklyn, Carson, Theo, and Eliana — each of whom brought her endless joy.

Pauline will be deeply missed, but her kindness, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
