Raymond M Seif

Raymond M. Seif, 90, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.He was born June 24, 1933 in Galion, Ohio to the late Howard W. and  Anna L. (Meister) Seif. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley (Seif) Heskett. Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Beverly A. (Dickerson) Seif; daughters, Diane Seif of Va. Beach, VA, Judy Parrish (Rich) of Duncannon, PA; a son, Steven Seif of Hickory, NC granddaughters, Denise Troxell of Duncannon, PA and Carly Seif of Hickory, NC.
During his high school years he set records playing basketball and baseball and later went on to play baseball for the minor league Cleveland Indians team. His sports career was cut short due to injury.
He was a retired accountant having worked at General Motors in Mansfield, Ohio and Depaul Hospital (Bon Secours) in Norfolk, Virginia.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, playing cards and crossword puzzles.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to his church Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1489 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
