Raymond E Weldon

Raymond E. Weldon, 76 years old, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at his home in Newport. He was born July 19, 1945 in Wheatfield Township, Perry County to Paul E. and Bessie Kreiser Weldon. He was a veteran of the US Navy and member of the Newport VFW and American Legion.
 Raymond is survived by his son Randle Weldon of Newport; daughters Penny Morrow of Landisburg and Petrina Smith of Blain; sister Joyce Hench of New Bloomfield and foster sister Janet Maurer of Wila; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife Joel Ann Weldon, sisters Alice Jean Narehood and Clara Rebecca Barlup and a grandson.
 Services will be held Friday from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a viewing from 10 AM until the funeral at 11 AM with Pastor Michael Witmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery with military honors by the Perry County Military Honor Guard.
