Reid T Wilson II, 78 years old, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was born May 8, 1947 to Reid T. and Loretta (Ralph) Wilson.He was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School and HACC. Reid was a  veteran of the US Marines and PA Army National Guard, retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot and the Senate of PA. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Lodge #11805, of the Newport Social Order of Owls, Hummelstown American Legion Post #265, and the Millerstown Moose #925. He was a former leader of Boy Scout Troop 302 and a past District Commissioner.
  Reid is survived by his wife of 50 years Judith Wilson; sons Reid Wilson III (Lonni), Scott Wilson and Raeden Scott Hosler (Laura); brother William Wilson (Tracie); sisters Karin McCormick (Marlin) and Deannea Platt (Ken); eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Rheada Wilson.

  Services will be held Thursday, February 12 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 811 Shermans Valley Road, New Bloomfield with a visitation from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Reverend Robert Sharman as celebrant. Graveside services will be Friday, February 13 at 11 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
