Rena I. Adams passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025 at her home in New Bloomfield surrounded by her loving family and beloved dog Sheba. She was born on February 5, 1936 to Charles E. and Charlotte E. Berrier. She is survived by daughters Julie E. (Kurt) Hall, Dalton, NH and Jennifer L (Rodney) Grove, New Bloomfield. Grandchildren Jonathan P. (Nicole) Kelly, Jason R. (Ashley) Kelly, April A. (Kevin) Roell, Amanda L. (Christopher) Stuart, Angela N. (Kevin) Robertson. Great Grandchildren Jonathan Jr., Jonah, Jenna, Rylynn, Kerrigan and Decklan Kelly, Katarina Roell, Riley Jo and Finn Stuart, and Ava and Ella Robertson. Her sister-in-law Darlene Adams, her best friend for 83 years Doris Schmid, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, "True Love" husband of 52 years, John W. Adams, brothers Charles E. (Lois) Berrier and George A. (Dot) Berrier, her uncle William A. Stone and cousin Carol A. Kallenberger.
She was a 1954 graduate of Perry Joint High School. She worked at Carson Long Institute after graduation, and worked for the Perry County Soil and Conservation Service for 27 years.
She and John enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Canada through the years. She enjoyed luncheons with friends, family parties for holidays and any occasion delighted her and created many wonderful memories. Rena's greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Rena's love of butterflies inspired her to plant Butterfly Bushes around her property. She was given a Pomeranian puppy named "Lucy" when she was a child, and continued to have Pomeranian Dogs throughout her life.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, New Bloomfield, The Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, the Merry Widows of Zembo Shriners, Perry Chapter No. 459, New Bloomfield, and Mount Eustis Chapter No 1, Littleton, NH (a 68 year member) of The Order of Eastern Star.
May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. May her light forever shine brightly in our hearts.
Rena requested a small private service. Interment was in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
