Robert S. Dudley, 93 years old, formerly of Newport, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Premier at Perry Village. 

Robert was born August 12, 1931, in Newport to the late Harvey E. and Alice E. (Stahr) Dudley. 

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Darlene Dudley; three sisters, Virginia I. Dudley,  Violet Harris and Miranda M. Burd; six brothers, Lenus C., Wilbur F., Lester R., Charles J., Elwood E. and James L.; one grandson, Tony A. Zang.

Surviving is his son Robert L. Dudley of Bristol, Connecticut; daughter Linda S. Goodling of New Bloomfield; son Timothy S.  Dudley of Duncannon; daughter Alice Catherine Sarver and her fiance Jeffrey Linsenbach of Shermansdale; six grandchildren and several  great and great-great grandchildren.  

Robert retired from the Commonwealth of PA (PennDOT) and Standard Novelty Works.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing,  gardening and cooking.     

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Robert S. Dudley.
