Robert L Hazzard Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Husband, Father and Pop Pop, Robert L Hazard Sr. Born in Saxton, PA to the late Mary Foutz and Raymond Hazzard on February 16, 1936, Robert found his peace on May 28, 2024. Bob graduated from Susquenita High School Class of 1955. He enjoyed getting together with his high school classmates two times a year. Bob ran a thriving construction business for 45 years with his wife Kay by his side. In later years his sons worked with him as well. Bob was a member of Hope United Presbyterian Church in Dauphin for 40 years. He was a past deacon and loved getting together and making Easter eggs. He and Kay took pride in keeping the courtyard alive and beautiful with flowers and plants. Bob's family had the pleasure of caring for him at home and surrounding him with love and laughter. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of almost 62 years Kay Hazzard, his children Shelley Briggs and her husband Rick, sons Heath Hazzard and Robert Hazard Jr. along with his wife Kendra. Grand children include Dillan Briggs, Jarrad Briggs, Hunter and Lane Hazzard, Brooke and Kyle Sweeger. Great Grand children include Margot Briggs, Adelyn and Wyatt Nadu, many nieces and nephews, and his sister Diane Colestock. Bob was predeceased by his two brothers Raymond and William.
