Ronald A Zeiders

Ronald A. Zeiders, 64, of Newport, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Holy Spirit Hospital.
He was born May 26, 1957 to Charles Leroy and Gladys (Shull) Zeiders. He was a member of the
Newport Social Order of Owls and Newport Fire Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry, and
spending time with his family and friends and cherished the many hours spent with his grandsons.
Ron is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy (Bailor) Zeiders; daughters Jaime Gordon and husband
Bradley of Newport and Kaili Adams and husband Joshua of Newport;  brother James Zeiders and wife
Marie of Newport; sisters Patricia Plummer of Mechanicsburg, Deborah Dunn and husband David of
Mechanicsburg and Sally Casner of Newport; and grandchildren Xander, Xaiden and Xane. He was
preceded in death by his brother Richard Zeiders.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 29 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the David Myers Funeral Home in
Newport. All are welcome to join Ron’s family at his celebration of life on Saturday, October 30, 2021
beginning at 4:00 pm at the Newport Fire Company with Vicar Susan Scott officiating. Ron’s family
invites everyone to join them for a reception immediately following the service. Private interment will
be in Newport Cemetery.
