Ronnie E Boyer

Ronnie E. Boyer, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 after a brief illness.  He was the son of the late Charles Boyer and Catherine (Roush) Warick.  He was blessed with a long, active, and healthy life.  He began adulthood with serving in the U.S. Army and shortly thereafter, entered into marriage with his late wife Ann (Kahler) with whom he brought daughters Lori (Eckhart) and Rhonda (Hendrickson) into the world.    He provided for his family through his long-standing career with PP&L.   In his earlier years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, family outings, motorcycling, and camping.   Mid-life afforded him an early retirement where he enjoyed traveling, attending retiree breakfast clubs,  lunch outings with his siblings Chyrle Sheppard, Sally Atkinson, and Jarvis Warick, and the joy of becoming a devoted grandfather to Alisa, Stephanie, and Samantha Hendrickson.   Ronnie was a gifted, self-taught woodworker and overall handyman.   His meticulous way of being in the world was evident in how he lived his life.   He enjoyed being be a seasonal outdoorsman in caring for his property and that of friends and family well into his senior years.  Ronnie enjoyed spending time with companion Loretta as well as the peace and solitude that country life presented.  May the abundance he experienced in this lifetime, carry with him into the afterlife.   A tribute to Ronnie’s life will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
