Sally was born in Green Park, PA on December 14, 1941. She is preceded in death by her husband,
Elwood R. Hebbe, Jr., her parents George (Judge) Coldren, Sr., Julia H. (Hench) Coldren and her grandson

Sally graduated from Green Park Union in Elliottsburg, PA. She received her nursing education as a
registered nurse at Poly Clinic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. After becoming a registered nurse, Sally
worked at Carlisle Hospital in the newborn nursery with her mother who was an LPN. After getting her
feet wet in nursing as an RN, she found that was her calling. She continued her career as a registered
nurse serving others through the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA), Perry Village Nursing Home, Perry
Health Center and ending her long-time carrier at the Youth Development Center (YDC) close to home.
After retirement from YDC, she spent her time with family and friends, going out to dinner, shopping
and going to the movies. She loved having get togethers at her swimming pool for family and friends.
Her parents both wrote weekly articles for the Perry County Times. Dad-Around the Square in Green
Park and Mom-The View From Timber Hill. After her parents passed away, Sally continued the tradition
for a few more years writing the View From Apple Ridge.
Sally was a loving wife, mother, grandparent, aunt, companion and friend to many.
