Scott Anthony Yoos Jr, age 34, passed away on July 26, 2025

Born on April 20,1991 in Baltimore, MD, Scott brought  joy, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone he met. From an early age, it was clear he had a kind heart, a curious mind, and deep viking roots that shined in everything he was and did.

He loved video games, puzzles, remodeling of all kinds, animals, but most of all his family, blood and chosen.

Scott is survived by his Mother Shannon, his fiance Tonya, his siblings, Starr, Kirk, Skylar, Noah, Dylan and Isaiah, his Glanny Debbie, an aunt, many nephews, a niece, a great nephew, and a slew of cousins. He is preceded in death by his Mom-Mom, Mary.

More than anything, Scott will be remembered for his smile, compassion, creativity, strength, and the way he lit up the room. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his memory will remain with us always.

A Time of Remembrance for Scott will be held Saturday, August 9 at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport from 11AM - 2 PM.
