Terry L Gantt

 Terry L. Gantt, 74, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Sunday December 10, 2017 at his home in New Bloomfield. He was born November 28, 1943 to Basil and Carrie (Fosselman) Gantt.
He graduated from Perry Joint High School in 1961.  He was an excavator with Stydinger Brothers. He was a member of the Newport Social Order of Owls, Hunters Valley and Ickesburg Sportsmen Clubs, Millerstown Moose, Newport American Legion and an Honorary lifetime member of Perry County Archers. He was an avid hunter, archer,  fisherman and a lover of all nature. He enjoyed wood working, gardening and canning.
  Terry is survived by his sons Stephen E. Gantt (Donna) of Newport and Jonathan L. Gantt (Kristie) of Newport; daughter Megan S. Gantt of Newport; sister Neva (Jack)  Richard of Newport and grandchildren Mary and Matthew Gantt.
  A  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport  at 11 AM with Reverend George Martz officiating. Burial will follow in the Wila Cemetery. There is a viewing from 10 AM until the service.
