Newport: Theresa J. Wilson 72, of Ickesburg, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Born in Harrisburg to William and Betty Weidenhof.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Michael Collier, Steve Weidenhof, James Weidenhof, Sr., and Timothy Weidenhof. Surviving is her husband James (Jimmy) Wilson, her brothers William Collier (Pat), Carl Weidenhof (Dena), three daughters: Suzanne Kent (Dennis), Tarra Paige, Jamie York (Steven). Also surviving are her six grandchildren: Lauren Eshelman (Jack), Kayla Ramp (Ian), Shelby Moore (Ryan), Morgan Roush (Austin), Elijah York, and Austin Kent. As well as eight great grandchildren: Alexis Sutton, Carter Eshelman, Cora Moore, Aspen Ramp, Koah Ramp, Kasen Roush, Cillian Moore, Camden Craft. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Sir Maxwell of Saville (Max).
She was a member of the Newport American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed her time as a farmer, landscaper and her employment at CPARK. She was a city girl that turned into a farmer’s wife then cross-country truck driver with her husband.
A viewing will be held on June 27  from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the funeral services following at the Saville Brethren in Christ Church in Ickesburg. Burial will be in Eshcol Cemetery.
