Thomas W. Pyle Sr. 71 years old, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at his home in
Millerstown. He was born July 27, 1953 in Chester, PA to Leon and Naomi (Shellenberger) Pyle.
He was a member of the Newport American Legion and Hunters Valley Sportsman's Club.. He
enjoyed playing cards, collecting baseball cards, was an avid Eagles fan and especially enjoyed
spending time with his grandchildren and loved them dearly.
 Tom is survived by his wife, Sherry Pyle; son Thomas W. Pyle Jr. and wife Tara of Liverpool;
daughter Mena Noll and husband Eric of Florida; step sons Anthony Amsler of Newport; Shane
Amsler and companion Heather of Newport; step daughter Amber Hodowanec and husband Dan
of Millerstown; son-in-law Maynard Shope of Liverpool; brothers Larry Pyle of Florida and
Danny Pyle of Selinsgrove; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by daughter Melanie Shope and brother Bruce Pyle.
There will be a visitation at Barners Church in Liverpool on December 15, 2024 from 1:00 p.m.
– 3:00 p.m. with a short prayer vigil at 3:00 p.m. A social gathering will follow for anyone
wishing to attend.
