Warren A Bates, Jr. 73 years old, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at his home in Tyrone Township, Landisburg. He was born May 4, 1952 in Salem, New Jersey to Warren A Bates Sr. and the late Ethel (Saul) Bates. He enjoyed NASCAR and slot car racing, camping and Civil War reenactments.

  Warren is survived by his wife Mary Lynn Bates; father Warren Bates Sr. of North Carolina; son Warren Bates III of Harrisburg; daughters Kristin Bates of Harrisburg, Karen Brown of Telford, Sherri Croftcheck of Carlisle, Denise Uzupis of Dillsburg and Sandra Hollowell of Landisburg ; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters  and nieces and nephews.

  A Celebration of Life for Warren will be held  December 19 at the Landisburg Fire House from 2-4 PM.
