Willard W Mitchell, 70 years old, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the UPMC West Shore Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born August 30, 1952 in Newport to Wilbur and Martha (Stahl) Mitchell.
 He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his grandsons.  He was always so proud of his family                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        He is survived by his daughters, Kelly Lebo (David) of Newport, Billie Plank (Brian) of Duncannon and Keri Mitchell of Newport; brother James Mitchell of Newport; sister Dorothy Beam of Newport and grandchildren Cody and William Lebo, Kiley Morrison, Lillian and Emmaly Plank and Landon, Hunter and Karter Mitchell; 2 great-granddaughter; as well as many nieces and nephews.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  A viewing will be held Monday, February 6 from 4-6 PM at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport.  Family and friends are invited to the Newport VFW following the conclusion of the viewing at 6pm for a light meal and fellowship.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
