William L. Evener III "Billy", 73 years old, of Millerstown, entered into eternal rest at his home on March 19, 2026. He was born November 30, 1952 to the late William L. Evener Jr. and Cora Mae (Rundell) Evener in Courtland, NY. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He then became a truck driver from which he retired.
William was preceded in death by his parents, brother Rodney Evener and sisters Bonnie Lee Evener and infant Martha Margaret Evener. He is survived by his five children Frederick Gibbs, Victoria Evener, Vincent Evener, William L. Evener III, Dalton Evener and grandchildren and brothers Michael Evener and Duncan Evener and sisters Dawn West, Mildred Evener, and Susan Turnbaugh and many nieces and nephews. and longtime partner Jaunita Gassiot.
