William R Morgan

William R. Morgan, 82 years old, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at his home in Newport. He was born February 8, 1937 in Newport to Roy S. and Viola (Peffer) Morgan. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Hope Eternal United Methodist Church in Newport and the Liverpool American Legion. He enjoyed playing solitaire and going to flea markets. He was an avid Penn State fan.
   Bill is survived by Nellie Morgan; sons, Geoffrey Morgan of Duncannon, Chris Morgan and wife Beth of New Bloomfield and Scott Morgan and wife Connie of Newport; sister, Ruth Ann Linn and husband C. Dick  of Newport and grandchildren, Tyler and Ericka Morgan.
  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 28 at 10 AM at the Hope Eternal United Methodist Church, 2 Burd Road, Newport.
