I drove George for many years in the WSEF A team van. George was always one of my favorite. When he got in the van, the atmosphere immediately changes as he would say hello to everyone and his joyous demeanor occurred. He always had to sit in the passenger seat (so it was reserved for him). He could be challenging to understand and he knew whether his words were understood....he would repeat until you got it. Nothing less worked for him. He could get angry and pout but it was so engaging that you always worked it out of him. My heart sank when I heard of his passing late Monday morning. He will always hold a special set of memories for me. May he be communicating with Jesus in a clear and joyous manner.
