Jean S. Beaver, 98 years old, of Millerstown, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at The Manor at Perry Village. She was born October 16, 1917 to Arthur Garfield and Zella (Reisinger) Stephens. She was a member of the Pfoutz Valley United Methodist Church and the Pa. Farm Bureau. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Jean was the widow of G. Clyde Beaver and is survived by her daughter, Stephanie B. Barnett of Red Lion; sons, Wayne C. Beaver and Philip M. Beaver of Millerstown and D. Stephen Beaver of Lynchburg, VA.; sister, Marian Riggles of Austin, Texas; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Stephens and sister, Helen Stephens Beaver.
Services will be held Saturday at the Pfoutz Valley UMC with a visitation from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Wyatt Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
