Norma Jean was a resident at Stonebridge Nursing Home in Duncannon, PA where she peacefully passed. She went to dance with the Lord on July 3, 2020 after battling many years of chronic health issues. Norma Jean lived life to the fullest and captured the love of everyone that came into her life. Norma Jean was a dedicated member to society and her family. She made friends everywhere she went especially with her staff of nurses and doctors and workers at Stonebridge who she loved and they loved her as well.
Norma Jean was a great woman in so many ways. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. From humble beginnings she became a member of Paradise Senior Citizens where she was very active in the association from working in the kitchen preparing food to sending out cards for all special occasions to members. Norma Jean also was an avid mall walker at the West Manchester Mall. She took her walking very seriously and rarely missed a day, until her health condition made it impossible. In Norma Jean's spare time she enjoyed playing cards, reading and doing crosswords. Her favorite thing was receiving greeting cards. She loved them and she kept every card she ever received. She had attended the Paradise Lutheran Church in Thomasville.
She always had a positive attitude and great sense of humor. In her darkest days her smile would light up a room.
