Eugene Lamar Strock, Sr. 86, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at his home in Liverpool. He was born April 30, 1934 to Harry F. and Helen B. (Meas) Strock. He was a veteran of the US Navy and the 201st Red Horse Air National Guard. He was retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot.
He is survived by his son Eugene L. Stock Jr and wife Patricia (Walton) Strock of Liverpool; daughter Rose M (Strock) Fickes of Ickesburg; sister Charlotte Yarnall of Honey Grove; grandchildren, David Fickes, Robin (Fickes) Irvine, Thomas Strock and Matthew Strock; God grand daughter Ericka VanderMark, 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Emily Marie McConnell.
A viewing will be held Wednesday January 6 from 4-6 PM at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport.The family is asking instead of flowers, for contributions to be made to Myers Funeral home to assist with funeal expenses.
