Craig A. Seigler, 60 years old, of Thompsontown, passed away Friday July 1, 2016. He was born September 30, 1955 to E. Leon and Shirley (Myers) Seigler. He recently retired after 35 years of employment with Susquehanna Valley Construction in New Cumberland.  Craig enjoyed restoring a 1957 Chevrolet truck with his son, in addition to hunting, and fishing.   He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Craig was a 1973 graduate of Greenwood High School and was a member of the Mifflintown VFW Post 5863.


Craig is survived by his wife, Rhonda Seigler; mother, Shirley Seigler of Harrisburg; son, Justin Seigler and wife Alicia of Port Royal; daughter, Jennie Seigler and husband Briton Lewis of Richfield; stepson, Jeremy Nace of Philadelphia; sister, Carole Reddecliff and husband David of Harrisburg;  grandchildren, Kennedy Seigler-Lewis (8) and Owen Seigler (2); and nephew and nieces, Andrew, Maggie, and Hannah Reddecliff.  He was preceded in death by his father, E. Leon Seigler.


Services will be held on Saturday, July 9th at the Port Royal Lutheran Church, 402 Market Street, Port Royal with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. with the Reverend Charles L. Hershberger officiating and luncheon to follow the service.


The family wishes that memorial contributions be made in Craig’s honor to Mayan Families, P.O. Box 710400, Santee, CA 92072 (an organization helping children in Guatemala where his granddaughter was born) or Perry County Animal Rescue,  507 Sugar Run Road, Millerstown, PA 17062.

omg mom I am so sorry I knew nothing until Carl Boozel told me. Craig was such a wonderful and kind hearted and damn fun person to be around. I just loved him Mom I will be down to see you !!! I LOVE YOU AND I AM THINKING OF YOU !!!!
