Ray G. "Pee Wee" Savercool , 80. of Millerstown, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the Holy Spirit Hosptall. He was born October 18, 1933 to the late Ray C. Savercool and Ruth (McNaughton) Savercool. He was the owner of the former Savercool Brick Company. He was a member for over 50 years, a 32 Degree Mason and past Master of the Tennis Lodge #371 F&AM in Thompsontown, Zembo Shrine, and Harrisburg Consistory. He was a past member of the Greenwood School District Board of Directors, a founder of the Millerstown Pool, and sponsor of youth and adult soccer teams. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren in their sports and dancing. He was an avid hunter.
  Pee Wee is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mildred (Mowery) Savercool; children, Michael R. Savercool (Darlene) of Richfield and Teresa R. Weiand (Greg) of Millerstown; step mother, Helen Savercool of Mifflintown; half brothers, Lynn Savercool of Texas and Edward Savercool of Millerstown; half sister, Barbara Weibley of Manchester; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, James M. Savercool.
  Family and friends are invited to services from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport for a viewing on Tuesday from 6-8 PM with Masonic Services by the Tennis Lodge #371 at 8 PM. Services on Wednesday will  be from the New Harvest Community Church, 527 Maple Street, Millerstown with Pastor Warren Peachey officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
